HEC is an integrated component of a comprehensive clinical information system that includes department-specific patient tracking, knowledge-driven documentation, electronic order/results communication, discharge information and management reporting with a patient-centric clinical information model that helps provide systematic care across departments and settings. Project Name: NEXTPAUT [Nextel Partners]

Description of the project: The project was a telecom billing project which mainly dealt with the UAT (User Acceptance Testing). The application which was used was

‘Ensemble’ which was an Amdocs product with different modules like Fulfillment Desktop (FDT), Customer Service Management (CSM), Inventory management (IM), Resource Management (RM) and Billing etc. There were two phases of testing that were carried out as a part of UAT which were regression and progression. There were two major releases named Unified Billing Project (UBP) 1.0 and 2.0 and also a major Migration activity of Nextel Partners to Sprint. I played a key role during the monthly builds and releases.

Project Name: BT-NFM

Client: British Telecom (BT)

Location: Bengaluru, India

Description of the project: Planned Engineering Works (PEW) and Incident Reporting and Management System (IRaMS) are two key applications which are responsible for handling the faults on a BT network. PEW is used to plan any engineering work coming up in the future. IRaMS is a system which will be used by the incident managers to report network incidents on the BT network. The customization of the system was done as per the user’s requirements using the Oracle Web toolkit and PL/SQL for the design of front-end forms for IRaMS application. Clear basic was used for the PEW application form design. There are many other interfaces which are connected to these applications for tracking faults.

I had developed forms in the Databases Oracle Web Toolkit, JavaScript, PL/SQL. I was involved in the development, maintenance and testing of the applications. Role: Developer and Tester of the application for different platforms Responsibility: Developments of PEW plan and testing IRaMS. Duration: 7 months
