1.Web Search Personalization Using Machine Learning Techniques

In this project, we describe a framework for personalized re-ranking of results obtained from an existing search engine. An adaptive approach has been taken to extract user preferences from previous queries and click-through data that is to be used for predicting document preferences for an individual.

Profile database is extracted from the results returned by a search engine for certain user query and clicking information on those results. These results are ranked collection of suggested documents summaries along with title and URL, here referred to as Web-Snippets. Basically this is our final year project.

2.ONLINE MUSIC PORTAL (WEB BASED):

The software is to be developed using Software Engineering principles. An Online Music Portal developed especially for PES Sangeetha Pranathi. “PES Sangeetha Pranathi” is a forum which is inclined towards spreading the glory of the Sugama Sangeetha. The main function of the product is providing a complete archival of all the programs previously held by the PES Sangeetha Pranathi. The product provides online streaming of audio and also the information related to songs like singers, artists, composer, lyricist etc. The site offers user membership; users can sign up and get access to many more resources like downloading of songs and notifications about programs and events held by the forum. Downloading of songs is provided to selective registered individuals who are valued patrons of our web site.

DURATION: 2 months.
