I have also introduced the RFID concept which allowed self-service of check in/out of books and resources in the library without staff intervention. Finding and tracking lost books and materials was also easy using the same RFID concept and handheld devices.

Provided a solution to reset public workstations to the original configuration when restarted which enhanced consistency and security.

Initiated the idea of the need to introduce a print management solution across the University to reduce paper and cartridge cost by assigning monthly free printing quota and chargeable thereafter. This idea appealed to higher management and was implemented immediately.

Developed a web application for the Archiving department, the final product contained enhanced features that made the software appealing and useful to use for many years.
