INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

Advanced Certification course of Confederation of Indian Industry CII- In Plant Training in Control Instrumentation in Forbes Marshall Pvt. Ltd. Pune, From 27th Nov’15 to 4th Mar’16, with the primary objective of making the fresh engineers Industry-ready, thus enhancing the Employability. It broadly covered:

Total 3.1/2 months of comprehensive training which includes 2 weeks of class-room technical sessions on wide range of industrial instruments such as Flow meters, Level Instruments, PG/TG range, Control Valves, Gate/Globe/Check/Ball Valves, WQ Analyzers, Steam and Water Analysis System(SWAS), Dust Monitors/Gas Analyzers, Vibration Monitoring Analyzer/System, DCS/PLC

& Turn-key Process Control Systems etc. Also we were given 3 months of hands-on work experience in these various manufacturing units, which certainly helped to connect up the theory with practice. This was the important aspect of this wonderful training opportunity that I got which added good value to me. Besides, we got direct/indirect insight into different business processes as well.

In this training program extra class-room sessions were also conducted on various useful topics such as Supply Chain Management, Achievement Orientation, Basics of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Digital Communication, PID Controller, Lean Manufacturing, Product Costing and basic introduction of Finance-to-Non-finance people, Commercial Terms etc.

Additionally, I was worked in Analytical Sales& Marketing Division with specific assignment Task is promotion of new pH and conductivity transmitters.

Also they were given exposure to Soft-skills development covering Effective Communication, Presentation Techniques and Interview Techniques & Skills for our smooth Transition from

‘Campus to Corporate’.
