Worked with app owners to change their apps to use a Service Account to query Active Directory. Configured AD to replicate Sites, like Intra-Sites, so that password lockouts replicate instantaneously between sites (Security requirement)
Shut down NTLM, per NIST requirement. Used event logs to determine which machines were using NTLM and worked with app owners to ensure the apps would still work, after shutting down NTLM, via Group Policy. Security requirement.

Acted as Sr. Wintel engineer and project team lead. Built the Wintel test environment to test moving the Wintel server environment to the new datacenter. I advised the client on best practices for using Vmware to duplicate their production environment into the lab. Migration of the servers to the new datacenter was done using Platespin software to create an image of the servers, place them on a SAN, which replicated them to a SAN at the new datacenter. The image was then loaded on new hardware using Platespin.
