Worked on MTX/GSM MSC wireless call intercept feature to implement the call processing and HLR/VLR related logic to meet customer and government requirement.
Perform GSM features verification to make sure the sanity of the wireless software release load. Followed the Nortel document standard for bug tracking and software release reporting system.
Team lead and coordination in Capacity, Performance and Reliability testing for GSM wireless new software release load. Support Nortel GSM customers to deploy the software release update in the field.
Involved in the design of Nortel GSM Media Gateway signaling to support MTP2, MTP3, over (ATM adaptation layer) SAAL and (IP adaptation layer) M2UA/M3UA.
Involved in the design and testing of Nortel optical DWDM long haul product. Developed the long haul network element management system based on the SNMP v-2 protocol also defined the MIB used for the network element management.
Worked as GSM R&D lab prime to develop the lab on-line access and configuration tool to improve the GSM lab equipment usage efficiently and designer productivity. This tool uses the latest web development technology (LAMP) Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP and AJAX, Perl, HTML, XML and Python languages.
