To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to apply for job at your facility. I am excited about the opportunity to continue gaining knowledge and experiences helping experts in the field and meeting new people. My resume shows that I have experience working with animals and people as well as an education in wildlife biology.
My job and volunteer experiences, have given me skills and knowledge in customer service. And, also being able to work with animals both in rehabilitation and during veterinary examinations. During high school, I worked consistently with a children’s art fair, and during my senior year, I volunteered for 50 hours spanning over 3 weeks at an animal safe haven where I worked with abused and neglected animals. I worked part-time, twenty hours a week, at Albertsons in customer service. For my senior project, I assisted my equine veterinarian during the summer for 40 hours spanning two-and-a-half weeks, helping with a variety of procedures including dental. In my spare time, I taught youth riders in my pony club ranging in-group lesson sizes from one to four riders or more focusing on Dressage as well as jumping and general horsemanship. I also have experience working in an office environment working with phones and computers.
My college education has been preparing me for this opportunity. I attended the University of Montana from 2009-2013 as a part of the College of Forestry and Conservation's Wildlife Biology program. After school, I have extended my experiences working within the medical field. I have successfully completed the coursework in biology, technical writing and public speaking all of which will help me in this career.
Thank you for your time. I hope to speak with you soon regarding my application.
Sincerely,
Hilary Naleway
