VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
During my active service while stationed in Hawaii, I grew very fond of a Pentecostal Church I was attending. My managerial experience gained while deployed in Iraq, and extensive skills to assisted in building projects that later served the entire community of Waipahu on Oahu, Hawaii.
We took a building that only had walls and a roof and installed plumbing, electrical wiring, cabinets, stages, and flooring to over 5000 sq. ft. The experience was so rewarding, both spiritually and emotionally, that I will never regret the almost 4 months of weekends I spent helping. The experience helped me to realize how blessed I am and how the small things we do in Jesus’ name have such an impact on others. I hope to continue my service to other communities and families that desire it, when and wherever I can.
