Monitors gauges, meters, control panels and process control computer;
observes variations in operating conditions to determine
processing requirment; takes corrective action on routine problem
and reports serious or complex problem to superiors. Operates valves
and gates manually or by remote control; starts and stop pumps, engines
and generators to control and adjust flows, chemical dosages and
treatment process equipment. Inspects bearings, valves, seals, filters,
generators, comprossors and other mechanical and electrical equipment;
makes major repairs to malfunctioning equipment. Dismantles, cleans and
