Monitors gauges, meters, control panels and process control computer;

observes variations in operating conditions to determine

processing requirment; takes corrective action on routine problem

and reports serious or complex problem to superiors. Operates valves

and gates manually or by remote control; starts and stop pumps, engines

and generators to control and adjust flows, chemical dosages and

treatment process equipment. Inspects bearings, valves, seals, filters,

generators, comprossors and other mechanical and electrical equipment;

makes major repairs to malfunctioning equipment. Dismantles, cleans and

replaces components and components parts associated with heating/air

conditioning systems. Regularly cleans and maintains interiors of

all mechanical rooms, air intakes and other mechanical equipment

and areas. Prolonged standing, climbing up and down ladders and

scaffolding, working in cramped and awkward positions, reaching,

lifting and bending when using hand and power tools. Expose to
