Duties and Responsibilities:

Basement works like Marking, Excavation, Plain Cement Concrete (PCC), Raft/ Footing, Plinth beam, Reinforcement works, Shuttering, Concreting (RCC), etc.

Super structure works like Reinforced Cement Concrete works of starter, Columns, Slabs, etc.

Block work/ Brick works including Layout, Band, Lintel, etc.

Water proofing works for toilet, balcony, terrace, etc.

Plastering works (Cement mortar and Gypsum) from button marks, first coat and final coat, for wall, ceiling and external.

Painting works from primer, putty, paint, etc. for internal and external.

Tiling works for floor, wall, skirting, etc.

Water tank works like Under Ground Tank (UGT), Over Head Tank (OHT), etc. and the water proofing works for that.

Studying the Structural drawing, Architectural drawing and Specifications, as well as explaining it to Supervisor/ Foreman.

Preparing measurement of work done and maintaining the measurement book.

Preparing the sub-contractor bills for concrete work, block/ brick work, plastering work, flooring, water proofing, etc.

Comparing the Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) with structural drawing and reporting about the discrepancy to structural department.

Checking the fixed reinforcement and shuttering at the site before calling Quality Manager and Consultant for inspection.

Requesting manpower and material as per day to day plan and getting approval from Construction manager for that.

Responsible for Quality control and Safety measures at site.

Coordinating with MEP Engineers to carry the work sequence without difficulty.

Coordinating with various sub-contractors to achieve the target of project as per Master construction program.

Attending Weekly Review Meeting (WRM) such as progress, safety, quality, etc. with Project Manager, Construction Manager and Engineers. Academic Project:

“Planning and Design of Multi-Purpose Hall” It describes the Specification, Drawing and Design. The project deals with the cost effectiveness and safe. “Light Weight Concrete Using Saw Dust and Broken Bricks” is an objective of the project aims to determine the factor affecting performance of saw dust concrete in terms of humidity and temperature.
