The PostgreSQL Environment is active/active data centers vs Oracle with Datagauard. o Designed and implemented Monitor Database and processes for Reporting system in an active/active environment. P roactive alerts, pinpointing of issues, and historic process time monitoring decreased response time to potential issues with few false positives.

The queueing system did not guarantee delivery in the same order to the two data centers. Designed a system to detect messages that made it to one data center but not the other while keeping false alarms - out of order messages - to a minimum.

Implemented other monitors - historic process times, queue failure and sub-performance monitoring.

o On call rotation for production issues.
