HEMATOLOGY:

Perform complete blood count.

Perform coagulation time such as bleeding time, clotting time, protime and aptt.

Perform platelets count and peripheral smear.

Perform ABO and RH typing.

Perform Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate.

Machine Handled: Microscope, centrifuge and Beckman coulter.

MICROBIOLOGY:

Perform urine, stool, blood and other body fluids for culture and sensitivity.

Perform ID crystals and oxidase test.

Perform Gram stain and acid fast bacilli stain (read microscopically and report)

Machined Handled: Microscope, BACTEC 9050, Biosafety cabinet class II, Autoclave and Incubator.

CLINICAL CHEMISTRY:

Give instruction to patient in every procedures.(e.g. OGCT,OGTT,FBS,LIPID PROFILE AND OTHER BLOOD CHEM. EXAMINATION.)

Perform blood chem. test as mentioned above.

Machine Handled: Stat Fax Blood Chem Analyzer, Vitros 950 chem. analyzer, Centrifuge, Mechanical or Automated pipettes.

CLINICAL MICROSCOPY:

Perform pregnancy test and seminal fluid analysis.

SEROLOGY AND BLOOD BANKING:

Perform serologic test such as HbsAg, VDRL, TYPHIDOT and DENGUE Test.

Perform CRP and ASO Test.

Perform ABO and RH typing.

Perform cross matching of blood (minor and major compatibility testing.)

Collect blood sample of donor and patient.
