2007/2008-2015
Health promoter/Nutritionist for TDH-PHC Kitanda Project, implemented by the Diocesan health department under CARITAS MADDO. Main duties include; implementing project activities, conducting nutrition health sessions, screening of malnourished children and referrals for severe cases, mobilization for all the approved project activities and participate in establishing and training of village health teams, accounting for project funds and preparing reports to donors.

I have practical research skills and I have carried out research in HIV/AIDS in relation to food and nutrition security constraints and ARVs

I have 6 years’ of practical experience in nutrition health education in communities and health care facilities, and promoting primary health care. I have good knowledge of Smart nutrition surveys.

ACHIEVEMENTS
2005-2006
I presented a research paper on HIV/AIDS and nutrition in the fourth Regional Conference of Science and Technology: at Uganda Museum, 14th-15th December 2006
I completed two successful internships at Kitovu hospital and Uganda Cares, Masaka Regional Referral hospital
2007-2010
I founded K&E Nutrition Company to provide consultative nutritional advice and formulate food products for normal clients and those with various nutritional health problems. This is an on-going project.
Iam also involved in agro-processing and value addition of fruits, legumes and cereals.
2007/2008-2016
Health promoter/Nutritionist for the Primary health care support project Under Caritas MADDO. In this project, we have managed to contribute to reduction of malnutrition prevalence and used lessons learnt in addressing the problem in other areas.
2011
I won an award for innovation and entrepreneurship from International Labor Organization during the Youth entrepreneurship competitions.
2013
I participated in the competitions for Global Innovation through Science and Technology and represented Uganda up to the Quarter finals
2017
DREAMS project Assistant
Participated in the East Africa Post-harvest Technology competitions and reached the finals due in Nairobi from 7th May to 10th May 2017
