Responsible for three - 2 TB SAP databases on DB2 on Windows and three - 1TB data warehouses on DB2 on Windows. Used DBI BrotherPanther for SQL tuning for the SAP and data warehouse production databases. Responsible for 70 SQL Server databases. Migrated 20 databases from DB2 to SQL Server. Deployed and maintained bar code scanners, label printers, and other duties as assigned.
8/2011-9/2013 – MedSynergies – Database Administrator for DB2 LUW. In addition to the activities below I migrated the DB2 database to SQL Server 2008R2. I made extensive use of ksh and sed scripts working with db2look to extract the DB2 structure and transform to the SQL Server 2008 structure. Used bulk_copy to load the data.
