Automatic Load Shedding: Power shedding in peak hours is necessary for keeping power stations from being loaded. Automatic load shedding is a procedure of switching ON/OFF in particular time interval .Here microcontroller acts as a timer Microcontroller is combination of all components like CPU,memory,I/O ports and other very useful components like timer, counter, PWM etc. Microcontroller activates the timer in particular fashion to make ON/OFF the loads using relays .There are four relays for four zones .Each relay is driven by a electronic driver circuit.
