SunGard Availability Services 2009 – 2017

Business Process Owner – Oversaw all aspects of the process for the implementation project life cycle from project initiation to completion and turnover to steady state support. Created automated MS word and Excel templates with single points of data entry that completed multiple template fields. Globalized implementation and decommissions processes for 9 countries, reducing the number of ISO controlled process documents from 12 to 2.

Senior Project Manager (Team Lead) – Managed 6 to 9 customers facing projects with Monthly Run Rate (MRR) of $100,000 or more.

-Lead team of 5 Project Managers that executed Managed Recovery Program (MRP) projects and complex managed services projects with MRP added. Trained and mentored peer PMs on managing projects with a mix of hardware and software managed services and cloud products.

-Successfully managed project to upgrade a major retailer’s Oracle Financial system. Included new Sun hardware, Solaris 10 OS, Oracle 11.5.8 to R12 and customer applications.

-Managed Service Level (SLA) improvement project that brought eight SLAs from Red to Green status and seven from not being able to report data to full reporting and Green status. This involved internal support teams both on and off shore and several vendors for collecting and reporting of data.

-Creation of a Business Intelligence system for a major retail customer.

-Moving 600 plus servers (physical and virtual) for second customer, from customer’s data center in Milwaukee, WI to IBM data center in Lexington, KY.

Sun Microsystems 2005 - 2006

Program Manager

-Full life cycle management for existing hardware and software product lines including feature adds and bug fixes and end of life planning.

-Simultaneously managed three (3) separate new product development teams of project managers and leads from the various functional areas of the company such as Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Global Services and Global Learning, Legal, Direct and Indirect Sales from idea conception to new product launch.
