CAREER OVERVIEW

Wistron Mobile Solutions Inc., Sr. Program Mgr. & Mgr. of Factory Test, 2014-2017. Served as the primary contact person between contracted client and Wistron. Developed and maintained project schedules, tracked and forecasted project costs and labor hours and documented and managed project risks. Managed two high visibility programs for a Fortune 100 company. Developed and managed project plans to on-time successful completion from request for proposal to product delivery in eight (8) months. Responsible for both projects schedules and the communication of them across the client and Wistron engineering teams. Developed Factory Test best practices and procedures to be used across Wistron to improve efficiency and reduce test cycle times. Increased automated test script execution by 100% resulting in lower MOH costs. Improved test script documentation and established a global repository for these scripts.

Moritz Consulting, President, 2009-2013. Included Fortune 100 client list; managed and launched a 3D mapping SW program and single driver SW project. Project included managing the 5 separate companies (Microsoft, Nokia Here, Velodyne LiDAR, Topcon and 510 Systems [now Alphabet] ) contracted to work the 3D mapping project, created master schedule ensuring all “parties” were working toward the same objectives. Wrote and negotiated Crowd Sourcing contracts for the enhancement of POI data. Supported the planning of the new server architecture and the contracting of cloud resources; server size, type, tools to improve security and data redundancy being major concerns. Responsible for quarterly report meeting with Microsoft senior executives and for communicating project milestones, issues and planned contingency- mitigation plans. Participated in the training of Navteq staff in agile process.

Worked with clients applying for Federal Affordable Care Act start-up loans with the objective of starting new healthcare CO-OPs. Participated in the writing of the Licensure Application to the Illinois Department of Insurance for the newly formed Land of Lincoln Mutual Health Insurance Company CO-OP and the Indiana Department of Insurance with the proposed new CO-OP for Indiana.

Motorola Mobility, Inc., Director Program and Product Mgt., 1998-2009. Managed global PMO in 7 countries. Responsible for monitoring both product teams and 19 program managers globally in the execution of new mobile products. Accountable for writing & reporting on key performance indicators and projects in Asia, Europe and the Americas driving efficiency, productivity and improvements in quality. Responsible to division President for arranging customer “status and quality review meetings”. Products varied in size and revenue between $250M - $5B annually. Wrote product development “gate” process document with go/no decision points (the entire product life cycle was outlined from ideation through to the post mortem process); obtained upper & middle management approval. Launched multiple mobile phone projects and accessories.

Aerial Communications, Product Manager Data Services, 1996 – 1998. Participated in the start-up venture of 1 of the original “Consortium of Seven” GSM carriers in the US. Launched Mobile Office Service in six major metropolitan cities across the US. Zenith Data Systems, Sr. Product Manager, Desktop Product Group. 1989 – 1996. Led cross-functional teams to meet time-to-market & time-to-volume targets. Wrote requirement docs to support the launch of two new products per year with annual revenue of $20M. Managed all worldwide peripheral products; worked with purchasing to reduce excess & obsolete inventory by 50%.
