2016 to 2017 – Aluminum Alloys Inc, Sinking Spring PA. Organizing incoming Request for Quotes to foundry manufacturing processes. Use and modification of Excel worksheets to estimate casting costs. Modeling and Finite Element Analysis for solidification simulations.

Master Patternmaker

2014 -2016 - Penn Pattern, Frackville PA. Solidworks modeling, sand casting patterns and tooling mainly large pump casings and impellers from drawings. AutoCAD layout for reverse engineering and machining drawings. Use of all available machinery and tools for fabrication of wood tooling.

2012- 2014 -Blatt's Pattern Shop, Meckville, PA. Use of Solidworks modeling for sand cast and investment cast tooling from prints, AutoCAD drafting for layouts of patterns, SurfCAM surfacing program for CNC tool paths. Hand/machine work for large wood patterns and core boxes.

2004 to present –Streamlined Windsurfing. Collaborated closely with the customer on design via the internet. Use of Solidworks modeling for product design and development. 3D models to 3D printing to active tooling.

Production of sand cast patterns and master patterns for the aerospace/transportation industries. Working from design to finished tools for vacuum formed plastic parts.

1990 – 2000 - Off the Wall Music co -owner – designed, manufactured and marketed musical instrument hangers. Created a unique fretted to fretless bass guitar neck working prototype.
