Migrated replacement modules and other converted components (personally converted 50-plus COBOL programs, 100-plus Korn shell scripts, 8 script-based menus) from NCR MP RAS to HP-hosted RedHat Linux; extensive shell script updates to migrate applications and data from existing systems to newly-constructed QA platforms. In a structured development environment, modified existing letter-generation programs per user request; duties focused on system analysis and indicated code revisions. Completed system analysis and preliminary development extending existing applications, creating a completely new type of courtesy letter targeting cardholders with problems using automated teller machines; these modifications involved communication across multiple departments and extraction of data from previously unlinked data stores, in addition to creation of structures for tracking related transaction history.
