Work experience:

Formerly employed with a construction firm as a site engineer and currently working in the same firm as project engineer and involved in a variety of exciting new projects throughout Srinagar city. Working closely with other professionals, like quantity surveyors and architects. Assisting in producing drawings and specifications for construction teams involved in designing of buildings and associated facilities. Identifying customer requirements and attending meetings on site. Helping to co-ordinate technicians and craftspeople. Ensuring building projects are completed within budget and the schedule.

Responsibilities:

Lay out of building plans.

Designing of commercial as well as residential buildings.

Preparation of bar bending schedule.

Co-ordination with various consultants and clients.

Estimation of material and take off quantities.

Ensure proper co-ordination between various assigned projects, development of their project plans, communicating progress and maintaining their time lines and budgets.

Select subcontractors, ensure their work accountability and approve works undertaken by them.

Ensure the adequacy of man power (work schedule) at all sites and implement changes if any required.

I feel that my three greatest strengths are; firstly my ability to have a clear understanding of the needs of client. Secondly the satisfaction I get from being involved in a building project. 3-Years diploma in civil engineering from Jammu & Kashmir state board of technical education, Srinagar, (Jammu & Kashmir).

Diploma in auto CAD (2d + 3d), from authorized Auto Desk Centre, Srinagar, Kashmir and hands on Staad Pro Structural Software

1-Year diploma in computer application, (MS office etc.)

Academic qualification:

10 + 2 from Jammu & Kashmir state board of school education, Srinagar, Kashmir.

Language known: English, Urdu, and little bit of Arabic.
