Dear Hiring Manager:

I am a hands’ on technology-savvy start up executive who has extensive experience in mixed signal ASIC and advanced packaging of electronic and optical systems used in Aerospace, medical and automotive applications. My experiences will prove to be useful in your company.

I was a founder and held a 4 year position as Vice President of Technology Development for Primarion Corporation, I have provided the overall strategy to build a technical team, define a Product, develop a Quality system, provide for software driven product documentation and followed it up with leadership responsibilities required to deliver that vision to the satisfaction of key stakeholders. In addition, I developed the strategic foundry partnerships at IBM, UMC and TSMC semiconductors, and operated as the GM of optical products.

Most recently I have developed advanced packaging technologies using nanomaterials to improve the thermal and operational performances in RF and sensor products, in a 4-year development program now completed and I am looking for my next set of challenges. I am local to Torrance and want to explore global opportunities.

I was the chief strategist behind the Trusted Foundry being established at the Kansas City Plant, Working with David Lowe and Paul Quirk. From KCP. We used my proven ASIC development Foundry experience at Hughes Aircraft Company to model the Trusted foundry program. David Lowe and I were instrumental in bringing the Trusted Foundry Partnerships to the user community through a series of road trip presentations during the initial startup phases.

I am skilled in mechanical design in Solidworks, PCB design, ASIC design, and simulation, and used these skills to provide a solution to The US Army wireless Dogtag called the Electronic Information Carrier (EIC), and recently a series of patent pending hand tools.

I bring to the table a “big picture” perspective derived from consulting experience spanning numerous industries and countries. This perspective has enabled me to create successful responses to new challenges in rapidly changing environments.

Other qualifications I offer include:

30 years of proven High Technology leadership and P/L responsibility at Hughes/General Motors

Over 30 years of semiconductor related Mixed-signal ASIC product development experience.

Fundraising in a new company start-up environment.

Successful won Army and Navy BAA and SBIR (Phase I/II) product development research programs.

A number of patents in analog circuits (Data converters), digitally controlled power management, optical communications, photonic and optical packaging.

The necessary professional and “on hands” background to define, design and deliver customer focused, technically sound business solutions.

Experienced in Foundry relationships, National, IBM, TSMC, UMC.

Successfully Implemented a Quality focused Supply chain management information system.

Experience providing strong leadership and vision for teams of 2 to 200 professionals in multi-cultural environments.

Comfortable in preparing and making high-level presentations to executives.

A solid educational foundation that includes an MSEE and MBA degrees.

My experience is diverse; my ambition for steering growth and continuous improvement is high, and my ability to fulfill my promises is proven. Naturally, I'd be delighted to discuss the opportunity you advertise in more detail, and would welcome an opportunity to meet. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
