Lectrus Inc. – Houston, TX

Electrical Designer
Sasol North America, Inc. Lake Charles Chemical Project was 22 Power Distribution Center buildings ($55 million project). This required working closely with the Project Manager, the electricians on the electrical pad and attending the Kick-Off meeting with the client. We met all of the client deadlines for drawing package submittals. To meet client requirements, would research equipment specs and availability. Worked closely with the structural designer on layout of the equipment in each of the buildings. When electrical issues arose in any of the buildings, I worked with the electricians to resolve the problem, such as re-routing cable tray or re-align equipment in the building when the actual size is larger than the spec dimensions. At times layouts would have to be revised when the customer added additional equipment after the initial approval stage. I also worked with the warehouse on getting parts
(cable, cable tray, circuit breakers, switches, receptacles etc.) out to the buildings. At all times, kept the Project Manager informed on concerns listed above, along with any others. Wilson Mohr – Sugarland TX

AutoCAD Drafter / Document Control
I worked closely with the engineers and designers on the layout design of enclosure front panels and back panels, fuel skid layouts and the design of electrical schematics. To improve efficiency in the drawings, created dynamic blocks to be dropped into the drawings. Set up, maintained and updated Project Documentation Packages for the End User consisting of drawings, manufacturer data sheets, equipment manuals and any other client required documents. This also included controlling and transfer of Client Software Licenses. Managed the Programming Support Renewal Contracts of software for the Project group. I created and updated a “Closed Job List” as a reference for the engineering department on previous projects. Worked with shipping companies on arranging the shipment of enclosures and skids.
