Responsibilities

Doing neighbor's Addition & Deletion in a particular Network.

Primary optimization for verifying existing coverage, sites design objectives, pointing coverage holes.

Handling of interference issues by change of frequency, BTS power, antenna configuration, and fine tuning for functioning of the N/W at optimum levels.

Identification of correct Handover Targets for sites.

Optimization by Antenna down tilt, orientation, cable swap.

Data analysis for the DT Logs for particular sites clockwise and anticlockwise to check Rx level, Rx quality, swap, interference and Handover.

Data Analysis of Cluster drives to Identity status of Site Coverage Area.

Drive Data Analysis for GPRS Drive.

Physical Audit of sites for Sector and cables swap, orientation, Tilt, Type of Antenna.

Analysing Reports & KPI for parameters like traffic, Call Setup Success Rate, Drop Call Rate, Rx Quality & level for UL/DL, Handover Success Rate etc. and resolve problem promptly.

Carried out Pre-Swap comparative drive test across state’s major highway, railway and potential metro towns and find out bad coverage and quality patches and resolve by optimizing existing network or proposing new sites.

Submission of Reports within time assigned.

Commissioning & integration of BTS (Indoor/Outdoor).

Commissioning of MW Unit with proper cross connections

Microwave links and proper cross connections & Software Uploading

Measurement of VSWR & Power Measurement & Rectification of V S W R

Acceptance Test (AT) of BTS and Microwave sits from Customer.

Plan and confirm Planned Maintenance time with the requestor.
