Owner/Operator – Ordered food and supplies, was on-site manager after getting off work from regular job and on weekends, prepared food and delivered to customers when needed, prepared timesheets for payroll, hired/fired staff and negotiated licenses from different government agencies (state, county, city).

Technical Account Manager – Responsible for approximately 80 customers, making sure all automation problems were solved and automation software up-to-date for several different operating systems (Windows, Unix\Linux, IBM i (AS/400) and Z/OS mainframes, Unisys OS2200 and MCP mainframes). Traveled to each customer site every two to three years. Helped several customers automate disaster recovery processes. First by implementing SQL Server replication and then automating the entire disaster recovery\business continuance process. In most cases, reducing the recovery time from hours to minutes by removing any and all manual steps. Conducted automation audits to help find additional areas where automation solutions could be implemented. Helped design new features for automation software based on the needs of the customer. In some cases, wrote simple PowerShell or Microsoft SQL Server scripts to provide the process or information to meet the customer need. Answered questions from Request For Proposals (RFP) or Request For Information (RFI). Conducted Proof of Concepts (POC) to aid in the sales process.

Senior Consultant – Main responsibility was to conduct automation software installations and training for large data center customers. Helped troubleshoot any problems reported to support staff to include reading and translating Executive Control Language (ECL) programs. Helped create Command Line Interfaces to other Automation packages and backup software. Helped customers transition from Unisys MCP systems to the IBM i (AS/400) mainframe. Created alerts (email, text, framework messages) to automatically alert the appropriate people there is a problem during the processing cycle. Prepared and gave product demonstrations at customer sites, webcasts and trade shows.

Automation Consulting Group – Created training demonstrations for internal and external customers. Consulted with customers on workload automation software and gave pre- and post-sales technical support. Created processes and procedures as the Interim Quality Assurance Manager which tested any new software programs before sending to customers. Created Account Profiles on each supported customer to include the basic company outline, contact person(s) for licenses and support, operating systems used, number of licenses and expiration dates.
