PROOFING KNOWHOW:

(a)Basics of Proofing such as International Standard Proofreading Marks, Professional ways of Proofreading, Technical terms & general rules and regulations of typesetting.

(b)Professionally trained as per project specific guidelines of our prestigious client RR Donnelley & Sons. such as Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis & Retrieval System (EDGAR), VERSION I & II, Pure Compliance®, Reverse Conversion Level 1-4, & Author Alterations (AAs).

As per these guidelines we are following several rules of typesetting about Conversion of special characters, Cover page of documents, TOC, General text, Tables (Financial & Non financial), Redlining tags, Signatures, Graphics etc.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

(A)Bowne & Co. Application:- Proofreading & Quality Control Process of the Converted HTML files against client copy to maintain the accuracy to the Client Specification with Schedule Fidelity.

(B)RR Donnelley Application:- Overall expertise in ProFile Documentation i.e. Content, Style, Layout, Imaging, Tagging, Quality Control Process, Finalizing and Ultimate delivery to the Customer independently within the provided time guideline.

Proper trainings are provided by our managers and trainers as per projects.

About 25 proofreaders, 20 programmers and 12 Qc persons work in my section.

To understand clients alternations marks and projects.

Then to distribute among the programmers.

After corrections are made I distribute pages among the proofreaders.

To solve the proofreader’s and programmer’s query.

To uploaded the job as soon as possible.

To update my clients by time to time.

To involve myself in complicated jobs and style pages.
