Sanofi (2014-2015)– Implemented visualization and content enrichment for R&D content. Used Carrot2 and Banana for visualization and clustering of content in SOLR. Managed developers who indexed content into SOLR and also used Entity Extraction tools. Client liason for requirements.

Amazon Web Services(AWS-CloudSearch) / LucidWorks(SOLR/Lucene) Search Applications (2011-present) - Designed and managed development of pre-built software utilities (AMI) for sale on AWS Marketplace and LucidWorks Marketplace. Designed architecture and specifications, managed development and testing teams, built website pages and collateral, managed partner relationships, email campaigns and sales efforts to bring products to market. eCommerce/Endeca (2009 – 2014) – For a variety of online vendors (including Lenox, Belk, UnderArmour, ePromos) was involved with sales, requirements and supporting staff doing Endeca implementations. Sales averaged 25-50% increases.

Library Sciences (2001 – 2007)

IEEE (2003- 2010) – Supported multiple upgrades of Publication Search Site from Verity through Endeca. We provided guidance on performance improvements, classification and taxonomy integration. Provided guidance on Search Engine Selection. Partnered with Endeca on IEEE upgrade in 2009-2010 and Subscriptions have increased at least 100% since then.

Project Manager/Architect for web based HW Wilson Library Science Information system. Moved system from Print based subscription model to Online Search model. Managed large IT team to deploy for client. The system was hosted on solaris servers accesses a state of the art Verity collection through an ATG/Dynamo/Java/XSL web interface The new system resulted in a many fold increase in revenue. AT&T – Residential Billing

Technical leader/designer for several Client Server systems which perform various functions. The functions include: Verification of AT&T Local and Long Distance Phone Bills, Financial Reconciliations, Unguidable Processing(Re-billing of Bills returned from Local Exchange Companies), and Summary Reporting. These systems are deployed to clients using Windows 95/98/NT and Workgroups for Windows. The clients are connected to NCR UNIX servers running Oracle DBMS. Clients access their data using both Visual Basic and Centura applications. Responsible for work of 10-25 developers, providing them with specifications and guidance as well as implementing critical pieces of projects.
