Oct 2016 - Sept 2017 Worked in ‘Gas Turbine Research Establishment’, in the Department of ‘Engine Fuel Control System’, DRDO, Bangalore. Role: CAE/CAD Engineer.

Project title: TD-EFCS

Job Description:

3D modelling of different parts of engine fuel control system and designing the different valves involved in it using UG-NX software.

Creation of CAD drawing for full model along with each part is carried out using AUTOCAD software.

Meshing of the each part is carried out in HYPERMESH.

Carried out structural stress analysis of each valve parts using ANSYS 16 software.

Preparation of the report and PPT’s for the same is carried out.

Project

Application of brush-less dc motor in hybrid vehicle. As part of BE curriculum project work we designed a hybrid vehicle which runs on both petrol and electrical, where brush-less dc motor was used for front wheel of the vehicle.

Design and Optimization of Aluminium Composite Pistons As part of M.Tech curriculum project I worked on Aluminium composite pistons where design of four different composite materials piston is carried out and material Optimization is done to choose a best composite material among the four materials by FEM analysis method.

The paper entitled by “Design and Optimization of Aluminium Composite Pistons” is presented at 3rd National conference on “Tropical Transcend in Mechanical Technology“ held on 9th May 2015 which is conducted at SJB Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
