PROJECTS

PROJECT 1

Project Title: “Design and Fabrication of Walk Assisting Vehicle for Visually Impaired People”. Project Description: Our project primarily focused on improved obstacle detection in three directions and also this vehicle is used for load carrying purpose. Three sensor and its output vibrator and buzzers are interfaced with Arduino UNO board. We are implementing the regenerative type walk assisting vehicle by using the piezoelectric ceramic disc in suspension system and generating electricity due to gravitational force on piezoelectric material. Project Testing: Our project is going to be tested at “WORTH TRUST” in Brailers section by the visually impaired people then the feedback had been getting from them. Project Participation: Our project is selected up to the final round conducted by Crazy Engineers project contest.

PROJECT 2

Project Title: “Design and Fabrication of Differential Carrier”. Project Description: In this project engine was replaced by an induction motor. Motor and differential carrier is to be coupled, and then the power transmission in inner radius and outer radius of wheel under different condition explained.

Company name : TVS- Sundaram Fasteners Ltd., Chengalpet, Kanchipuram (TN). Designation : Graduate Apprentice Trainee (Production Field) (July 16 to July 17) 1yr with a stipend of 12000/p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating the personnel to produce high quality products.

Collecting the production data on shift basis and documenting regularly. Updating of Production review and fast response tracking board.

Rejected parts are categorized on shift basis and collecting the rejection details from production log note. Major rejection issues are categorized and then these are all solved through QC story. 2.INDUSTRIAL VISIT An industrial visit to ASHOK LEYLAND at Chennai as a part of curriculum. I had visited engine and gear box assembly.

3.IN PLANT TRAINING

In-Plant Training at Tata Motors Consultancy of VST MOTORS LTD., Vellore for a period of 15 days.

Regular monitoring of tool life, tool cost and number of tools used in each shift to be calculated for achieving financial objectives. Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities for achieving maximum production.
