RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
Undergraduate Research, Amherst Center for Fundamental Interactions (ACFI) 01/2017 - Present
- Building and testing Cathode prototypes for nEXO. Running multiple tests to characterize the frequency of cathode prototypes to find the most suitable material to build the final prototype that will go into the nEXO unit.
- Modeling parts of the liquid Xenon cell that used for characterizing the SiPM’s and APD’s on SolidWorks to run them in Chroma simulations.
- My Project this semester (Fall17) is learning Chroma simulations to be able to run all variance types of simulations in the Lab.
SKILLS:
- Computer skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word-PowerPoint-Access-Visio-Excel) for over 5 years.
- MS Windows: experience in using, installing, troubleshooting (for over 5 years).
