Project Description: SDP is a set of new policies, processes and systems to support new subscription business models to VMware customers through the VMware channel. The SDP ecosystem includes integrations with Oracle EBS. As part of the Subscription Delivery Platform both VMware as well as VMware channel partners will be enabled to sell and support new subscription products. Project Description: vCloud Air through VSPP is a program to enable VSPP partners to offer Managed Services on top of vCloud Air. The business purpose of this project is to increase Revenue, increase Hybrid Cloud Adoption and enhance VSPP Program.

The goal of this project is to help support the launch of VSPP Offerings through SDP Platform to provide Subscription Billing for VSPP partners with the technology scope of providing the ability for VMware Service Providers and Aggregators to manage contracts and monthly billing orders for vCloud Air products.

Reduction of the time for the ELA IB quote cycle through automation and streamlining the IB quote generation procedures and eliminating duplicate activities across teams.

VMWare listened to the customers requests for easier navigation and a consolidated view of their license keys and support. As a result, VMWare has integrated many of the functions that used to be spread across multiple portals to provide a centralized view of the information that customer needs. Customers’ primary online activities will be faster, easier and more accessible, saving their time and effort.

Responsibilities:

Responsible as QA Point of Contact, since Multiple Teams were involved in the Testing from different locations.

Prepared the Test Break Down which includes the Test Scenarios, their priority and related number of Test Cases along with the defined estimates for time to compose and execute the Test Cases.

Responsible for managing team, planning activities and standard Templates like the Daily status, Defect Status, Defect process etc.

Worked with the development team to create a suite of test data (both input files and expected results) that fully exercised data validation.

VMware Product launch and release process was manual, disconnected, lacked workflow and signoff and required multiple handoffs and workarounds to accomplish even the simplest release. The release process initially required considerable overhead including IT Development effort (in FRD, QA, UAT, and Deployment).

Responsibilities:

Interacted with multiple systems like Download Maintenance Tool, Public Eval System, Partner Eval System, Siebel Call Centre, DSCA application.

Coordinated from the Client place as Onsite Coordinator and handled the Offshore Team which was a total size of 10.

Involved in integration, System and Regression Testing.

Prepared Test Strategy and Test Process Documents and also maintained the Regression Suite for the required Release.
