Test Engineer

In this project, the whole team is working remotely to develop a WebApp and an iOS app for a new social media related with Stock exchange market. The project is developed using python language, HTML, CSS and Objective-C. The different test cases are handled using JIRA and different collaborative and could-based documents and meetings. To certify the Quality of these products, the test cases are based in the App Quality Alliance (AQuA), to assure the usability and performance of this app over iOS.

The project is related with News portal and specialized information. Consist in a WebApp with several resources and section. The QA team which I was part of was focus on running several test cases to assure the quality of the product in new springs and releases, providing support and improvements. The main tool used for handling all issues and tasks is JIRA and daily meeting to coordinate and communicate the roles and responsibilities inside the team.

Performing Manual Testing for Google Web Search results over Mobile phones, tablets and all web browsers in Desktop PCs. Creating and performing full set of test cases for Google Web Search, verifying and validating all features its features. Working with tools for Bug tracking and managing Test Project trackers. Android devices. iOS 7/8/9 over iPhone and iPad. Desktop: Linux Browsers: Chrome / Firefox / Opera. Windows 7/8/8.1/10 IE7/8/9/10/11/Edge. Mac OS browsers: Safari/ Chrome/ Firefox/ Opera.

In charge of Mobile Automated Lab, in Mountain View headquarters: this project is an automated Lab for Android and iOS devices. It was configured from scratch following internal manuals and tutorials, in Linux PCs for Android tests and Macs for iOS tests, using different technologies such as: secure shell, Apache web server, Java development Kit, internal Libs and code in Google Cloud. The platform is based on many satellites servers connected to a main one. All these satellite servers have many Mobile/Tablet devices Android and iOS connected to run automated tests on them. Those tests are written using Python/ Java/ internal Lib and adapters.

Execution of tests to certify the Quality of an Android App released on Google Play using Android SDK tools, Eclipse, ADB, DDMS tools, Android Studio, adt Bundle. Qdev tools, QPST. Testing of Android apps: Creation of TestLink projects, Test Cases, Builds, Platforms. Selection of Test specification for any type of App to test, using AQuA tests cases, docs, FAQs and patterns of good practices. Generating reports: TestLink reports, Mantisbt reports and spreadsheet (with visual basic macros) summary report, using data collected from Power Tool (power meter), Trepn Profiler (Performance: CPU, RAM and more) and ATT ARO data collector and Analyzer (network usage, packages and best practices).
