EIM – Enterprise Information Management

Description:

ING is planned to implement a comprehensive " Enterprise Information Management " System to provide a single source of data for all requirements and implement BI tools to enable Users to dynamically generate ad-hoc report and drill down data till operational level. They also intend to automate the reports which are being done manually earlier. The main idea is to make data available from service oriented approach to self-driven approach.

Environment: SAP Business Objects BI 4.1/BO 3.X/launch pad/IDT/ Oracle

Responsibilities:

Involved planning, Requirement gathering and Testing Phases of Migration Process.

Understanding & implementing the logic as per the user requirements.

Created Universes based on the Business requirements.

Prepared Documentation of all the reports and universes which needs to be converting into BO 4.1 using IDT.

Developed the reports in Web Intelligence, so that the users can access the reports through Info view.

Creating reports using Desktop Intelligence and Web Intelligence tools.

Created user Prompts, Conditions and Filters for various reports to specify the reporting parameters.

Corporate/Top Level Management users will raise their requests in CR Tracker and RO/AOSH/BOSH/Branch users will raise their requests in QMS. CMIS (Centralized MIS) Team will resolve these Query Requests within TAT.
