Mr. Brown holds a BSME degree from Purdue University

He has over 20-years of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering experience supporting government, military and private sector clients. Recently Mr. Brown worked with the AFCEC/COA Asset Visibility Team at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. He performed facility condition assessments at multiple Air Forces bases in the US and abroad . He is proficient with data entries and file management for the BUILDER Sustained Management System. Mr. Brown also provided training for base inspectors who augment the AFCEC/COA Asset Visibility Team during base visits.

Earlier in his career he served as an officer with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Other experiences include eight years with the US Department of State designing mechanical and electrical systems for Embassies and Consulates world wide. He developed and implemented programs to replace chlorine based refrigerants in air conditioning systems. He also supported NAVFAC at the Philadelphia Navy Yard by performing mechanical and electrical system inspections and contract management assignments for system replacements aboard Navy ships and submarines.

Mr. Brown was employed by Honeywell for 14 years performing engineering and marketing assignments that provided solutions to temperature control issues. His clients included the Pentagon, Dulles Airport, CIA Langley and school districts in the National Capital Area. These projects include having a working knowledge of ASME, NFPA, NEMA, ASHRAE Standards, and local building codes. He has design experience with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, condensing units, fans, air handling units, VAV systems, temperature controls, building automation, piping and pumping, lighting and lighting controls, and fire and life safety systems.

As the principle of Energy Control Consultants, he developed maintenance procedures for preserving and extending the life of mechanical and electrical systems of the Maryland Department of Transportation headquarters in Baltimore. Mr. Brown performed energy studies of campus buildings for Vanderbilt University. He developed and managed energy efficiency upgrades to HVAC, temperature controls, and lighting systems. Littleton Colorado Schools employed Mr. Brown to perform energy studies of their buildings district wide. He developed and managed the installation of HVAC, building management, and lighting system upgrades. Evaluations of electric and natural gas tariffs were also included.

Mr. Brown performed an energy study of 1.7 million GSF 1601 Market Street in Philadelphia, PA. He developed and managed energy conservation projects throughout the facility.
