Research in Progress

1. Atrial volume assessment in Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) This case series assesses right atrial volume and function in pre and postoperative TOF patients to provide insight into atrial function and volume changes in TOF. Changes in right atrial function may provide crucial information on the diastolic function of the right ventricle.

Current status: IRB approved, Data collection and analysis completed, Manuscript completed.

2. Hybrid stenting in congenital surgery

This case series evaluates our institution’s experiences in performing hybrid stenting on patients with branch pulmonary artery stenosis, pulmonary vein stenosis, and coarctation of the aorta. We evaluate our hybrid stenting technique, optimal stent choice, re-intervention rate and patient morbidity and mortality. We also describe our techniques, long-term follow-up and clinical outcomes. Current status: IRB approved, Data collection and analysis completed, Manuscript completed.

3. The anomalous right coronary artery from pulmonary artery (ARCAPA) This case report and literature review of the anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the pulmonary artery.

Current status: Literature review completed, Manuscript completed. 5
