My role is to work as an onsite coordinator for CCG application to assist in various major and minor enhancements and in different process improvement initiatives.

Details: First Data Commercial Services Corporation (FDCS) is the largest processor of the credit cards in USA. Statement, Settlement and 3tier (SSTG), being a part of FDCS operates in North Mainframe Platforms. My role is to work as an onsite coordinator for north Statement. North Statement falls in the tail end of the Credit Card Processing System and it is the merchant s primary tool for reconciliation. It is also First Data s main vehicle for communication to the merchant. The goal of the statement is to provide the merchant with all the data needed to track activity, reconcile submitted batches with demand deposit account (DDA) deposits, and receive communication from First Data and/or their financial institution.

Working Capital Solutions (WCS) is a division of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation that directs, monitors and coordinates the development, maintenance and installation of quality computer based systems in order to optimize working capital (including cash) for various business units. For WCS Lockbox is a Global Cash Management service provided by Mellon to its corporate customers. It is a collection and processing service, which collects payments from a dedicated postal box to which the corporate directs its customers to send payments to. The bank makes several collections per day, process the payments immediately, and deposits the funds into the firm s bank account.

Details: The EIS project envelopes three Mainframe Applications RB (Relationship Banking), RR (Retirement Reporting) and BR (Brokerage Reporting) related to securities business of Wachovia. I was involved with an assignment which encompassed the critical task of analyzing 11 different job streams,belonging to the above three applications, with an objective to attempt to merge at least some of them to reduce the huge process overhead incurred for running 11 different job streams separately. The task encompassed restructuring of entire Batch cycles and involved the phases of analysis, design and implementation of the revised structure.
