ACADEMIC PROJECTS

●Project Management: Created a business case, project schedule and work breakdown structure for a project at Sourcebits Consulting, a service based company. Used Microsoft project and other PMBOK concepts to create a work breakdown structure for the project. Researched and documented the project goal, value estimation and various other project management techniques used for completion of the project.

●Business Process Management: Project on Front Desk Business Process at Hilton’s Hotel and Resorts. Collected information about IT strategy used by Hilton. Analyzed Hilton’s intranet called “OnQ” and examined its implementation in the front desk business process.

●Managerial Decision Making: Developed a scheduling and cost minimization model for an after school tutoring academy. Ran the excel solver to minimize cost of paying the tutors weekly. Developed a scheduling model that optimally schedules classes based on the tutor’s availability and other constraints.

●Business Intelligence: Used the SAP software for generation crystal reports. Worked on the SAP software on crystal dashboard to create info cube and info objects. Worked on the SAP Lumira platform to analyze different aspects of business sales.

●Management Principles and Organizational Behavior: Project on Employee/Team Development and Motivation at Kaiser Permanente for the nursing staff department.Findings were presented to the Kaiser Permanente management team, and were successfully implemented.

Worked as a part of Omni’s business management team. Planned and executed various strategies to increase customer reach and knowledge of the service provided.

●Sasken Communication Technologies Bangalore, India February 2012 - April 2014

As a Software Engineer, was involved in Design and Development of Android application and Framework Features. Was also a part of the project management meetings which involved client interaction, documentation and execution. Was actively involved in Scrum meeting every day.

ACTIVITIES

Worked as a teaching & research assistant in the field of Business Forecasting with Prof. Ramesh Bhollapragada. Working on an ongoing project called FacTrack lane utilization.
