OBJECTIVE

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Over 25 years in the Import / Export industry includes significant experience in operations, management, and supervision; logistics including air, ocean and rail; tracking shipments; and coordinating with US Customs and several international points of origin and destination.

Responsible for clearing shipments through US Customs to forward to their commerce destinations both inside and outside the country, and comply with both country’s laws.

Strong communication skills include ability to interact in a positive and productive manner, listen and network effectively, articulate ideas clearly, write concisely, and make compelling and informative oral presentations.

Outstanding customer service skills demonstrated while establishing client rapport, providing quality service and follow up, and achieving customer satisfaction; as well as interacting with brokers to clear through US Customs, arranging pick-ups and deliveries as needed.

Excellent organizational and time management skills include ability to prioritize high volume workload, schedule and plan jobs / projects, multitask, and pay close attention to details while meeting commitments and deadlines.

Industry knowledge includes ability to quote both local customers and origin offices on import shipments via ocean and air, determine client needs, track their orders, communicate shipping information during transit, and issue our invoice for the shipment to complete our paperwork.
