Cardiology Skills/Experience

•Observed electrophysiology pacemaker testing

•Observed multiple arteriograms and artherectomies

•Assisted synchronized cardioversion

•Performed CPR

•Skilled in reading electrocardiograms

•Assisted in echocardiograms, venous and arterial duplex, ABIs and Chest X-Ray

Surgical/Suturing Skills:

•Performed simple interrupted and subcuticular sutures. Knowledge in horizontal and vertical mattress sutures, subcutaneous and continuous running sutures.

•Scrubbed into operating room and assisted with Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-oophorectomy and multiple Cesarean Sections

•First assisted in general surgery for: inguinal and umbilical herniorrhaphy, cholecystectomy (open and laparoscopically), lipectomy

•Assisted in ACL reconstruction with autograft of patellar tendon.

•Assisted and closed for many arthroscopies and rotator cuff repairs.

•Performed peritoneocentesis

•Surgically stapled abdomen and head
