Analyst, Application Development

Lead Administrator instrumental in automating the building, loading and back-up operations for the Hyperion applications at Lincoln Financial. Lead who administers the complete Hyperion environment for DEV, UAT and Production, including maintenance, patching and system upgrades. Sub – Administrator in charge of report migration, troubleshooting and maintaining Business Objects Enterprise environments including WEBI and Crystal Reports. Sub - Administrator accountable for Informatica Operational and Administrative functions.

Upgraded Hyperion 9.3.1 to 11.1.2.3 and then to 11.1.2.4 assuring that systems remained current and that hardware was in compliance resulting in reduction of outside consulting fees - saved $50,000 to $100,000. Consolidated systems into an integrated system and upgraded to a new process that was a more direct LCN process leading to more direct SDLC management, better process control and improved program development tracking.

Upgraded existing Hyperion 7 systems and applications to Hyperion 9.3.1 for 3 environments. Facilitated automation of data loads and builds and back-ups for Hyperion applications which automated the process, simplifying scheduling without monitoring, creating failure notifications and restorations through back-ups.

As part of a team, maintain Corporate Reporting Systems and deployments for Business Objects, and Actuate spreading out coverage through the addition of team members creating additional time that staff could assist users.
