EXPERIENCE

LAB TECHNICIAN MOSAIC TECHNOLOGY

8/2016-Current

As a Lab Tech for Mosaic Technology, I am tasked with job of testing a variety of Oracle, Dell, and HP systems in a Lab environment. My main duties as a technician include testing of hard drives on company provided hardware testing suites as well as some manufacturers testing software. I am tasked with the duty to recreate customer testing procedures and test hard drives accordingly per customer specification. The ability to Pass or Fail a hard drive or system based on printed results are a must. The ability to translate test results to higher up management and sales persons of why a hard drives or system failures is necessary. Keeping systems clean and working properly are proprietary due to the older nature of the systems. Maintenance includes, reinstall of a variety of Windows based Operating systems (Server 08, 12) (Windows 2000 - Windows 10). Making sure software drivers are current and working properly after every reinstall. Proficient in Linux OS environments such as Solaris 10 – current. Ability to find solutions to not so obvious problems are some skills I have been honing while at this current position. Ability to find solutions to not so obvious problems are a day to day occurrence with technology, which has honed my problem solving skills and has strengthened my ability to utilize educational and reference resources to solve any problem that arises.

LANDSCAPING FOREMAN THE SHRUB GUY

2/2016-7/2016

As a Landscaping Foreman I was in charge of a four man crew and day to day operations of a Landscaping company. These tasks included the complete clean up of customer properties, mostly residential and two commercial locations. As well as maintaining equipment and machinery. Machinery includes, large commercial scale lawn mowers, weed wackers, walking lawnmowers and commercial leaf blowers. When we weren’t together as a crew I would work side by side with a Master Horticulturist to create landscape designs on a CADD based software for customers to see their design before committing to anything. Other duties included close work with the Owner to communicate customer concerns and issues that may have arose. Also while not on the job sites, I would learn viable landscaping knowledge of fertilizers and trimming procedures for perennials, shrubs, trees, and fruiting trees, learning their make up and growing environments along the way, as well as their deficiencies list and problems that may arise. Planting, fertilizing, watering, transplanting and transporting from Nursery to Job Site.

As an Industrial Assembler, I was tasked with the ground up assembly of high temp furnaces for a material process company. I was a part of a small assembly team that assembled a wide array of assemblies and parts ranging from the nuts and bolts assemblies of furnace chambers to pneumatic and electrical control cabinets that controlled various pressure switches for furnace functionality. Day to day operations included receiving of products and inspecting for faults or failures, sometime to the tolerance of .001 degree of precision. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, metal working, electronic, mechanical, gas distribution, and various other hand tools required. Vast array of problem solving required, as solutions needed to be made on the fly with creative and effective solutions. Worked off CADD drawings and assembly drawings to conduct assembly builds whether it be electrical schematics, plumbing, machining, or product information diagrams. Along with daily shop clean up. Sweeping, mopping, wiping down of equipment etc. Working 50+ hrs a week when required.

As an Assembler C, I soldered various electrical components to products via CADD drawings and work instructions, using hand solder tools and microscope when needed. Assembled products using basic hand tools via process sheet and work instructions. Conducted inspections of finished products to assure no flaws of desired results by following process sheets and blueprints. J-Spec Certified, Bond Certified, Re-Work Certified, Inspection Certified. Worked with various CCA process technologies including surface mounted components, bonding and baking. Exposed to various cable technologies including wire harnessing, plug wire, hot tweezers and wire tinning.
