Senior Network/Security Engineer

Responsible for the DDoS Internet attacks mitigation via blackhole or off-ramp scrubbing, of all the company’s server farms that provide Internet, Cable TV, video on demand and numerous other applications access to all the company’s cable customers.

Disconnected and removed from the production all the old Cisco 5505 and 5509 Catalyst Switches

Configured 208 brand new Cisco 4503 and 4506 Catalyst Switches that replaced the old ones.

Applied a new hierarchical addressing scheme to replace the old flat network design

Carried out the cable management in the wiring closets.

Tested the connectivity between the access and the core layers through the entire Medical Centers.
