Design Test Engineer
Using Solid works, designed, performed stress analysis, and created manufacturing drawings for test fixtures that are used to test and qualify Freudenberg(FOGT) sealing solutions to different industry standards, such as ISO10423/API 6A, ISO14310/AP 11D1, or client specific requirements.
Prepared and reviewed test procedures to qualify different FOGT sealing solutions to industry standards in accordance to our ISO17025 Lab Quality Management System.
Participated in technical reviews of new fixtures and tests created by the engineering team.
Worked closely with lab personnel to perform tests on different FOGT sealing solutions. Analyzed data and created reports based on the results of the tests I managed.
Proposed and implemented Ideas for continual improvement of the lab.

Research & Development Test Engineer
Premium Connection Testing
Acquired, setup, maintained, troubleshoot and upgraded the laboratory’s equipment and processes, to ensure the laboratory’s abilities to test premium connections on casing and tubing to current and new industry standards such as ISO13679/API5C5, and TWCCEP.
Project leader for the acquisition of horizontal make and break torque tongs and the implementation of upgrades to lab equipment to perform TWCCEP physical tests for SAGD connections.
Participated in the instrumentation and testing of connection samples, using strain gauges, thermocouples, and pressure transducers, to comply with ISO13679 requirements or in a similar manner to the tests outlined by ISO 13679, and reported the results of the testing.
Laboratory Start Up
Observed and assisted in the testing of TMK’s connections as part of the ISO13679 training at the Oil States Facility in Aberdeen Scotland during two 6 week periods.
Wrote procedures, and trained other TMK IPSCO’s engineers and technicians to replicate the ISO 13679 test at the TMK’s lab, based on the training received by Oil States.
Assembled and commissioned the connection testing frames and installed auxiliary items along with other laboratory equipment.
Trained in ISO 17025 to assist in the creation of the lab’s quality management system that became accredited by A2LA in 2013.
Laboratory Testing
Assist in the investigation of tubing and casing pipe failures. Prepared samples for tests and studies using various machine shop and laboratory equipment.
Performed Charpy impact tests, Brinell hardness test and tensile tests.
Spectra Energy Transmission, LLC May 2008 - Aug. 2008
Intern Engineer
Stationed in the Jackson, Mississippi office at the South East Supply Header (SESH) project which consisted of the construction of a new natural gas transmission pipeline.
Traveled to compressor stations and metering stations along the new transmission pipeline to assess the construction taking place, tests being performed at the stations, and ensured safety policies were being followed by all personnel on site.
Arranged for the placement of Sub-Mar concrete mats in a creek near a metering station to prevent erosion and the eventual exposure of a gas line. Supervised the installation of the mats.
Reviewed invoices were charged per the contract and to the proper work order for the negotiations with the contractor over the discrepancies.
UTEP: Energy Center Jul. 2006 - Dec. 2008
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Collected thermal and water usage data to conduct technical analyses of energy used by the roof integrated passive solar water heater system, being tested in the research, as an alternative to conventional water heating methods.
Involved in the application of new sensors that could be utilized in the research’s data collection. Tested old and new sensors to insure proper measurements.

Manage and coordinate the Karate School’s (dojo) activities, responsible for website maintenance, participate in the development of the training program, implementation of new systems to improve dojo operations and teach class to the students when possible.
Major involvement in the feasibility studies, strategic planning and execution of the school’s new larger facility (2010).
