My name is Lela Bigham and I am currently seeking a position within your company. Here are past job titles:

● Jan 2016-April 2017

Secretary/Registrar Midway Alternative High School 13501 South Bell St

677-2455

This particular job held many titles within the Sec/Registrar position due to the small size of the campus. We employed 4 teachers, 4 aides, myself and 1 Principal. I managed the administration office for Midway’s Campus. This includes keeping students CUM files up to date and in order. Produce data reports for District Support Center; attendance, grades, transcripts, student teacher ratio, google docs and any other data reports that were requested. For example I collected data from graduating students to track their success after secondary education completion. I was responsible for all campus accounts; timesheets for hourly employees, accounts receivable and payable. Ordering product from the warehouse and distributing items to faculty members. Using MUNIS to create REQ/PO’s to order from approved vendors. Assisted local companies in acquiring new vendor application.

I managed all donation accounts from multiple entities. Due to the small nature of our campus our seniors were not given the same opportunities as the larger campuses within our school district. I wanted to keep the out of pocket expenses for the seniors at a minimum. So I wrote grants for our campus and asked for donations from local companies and members in our community. I created our College and Career Expo for Midway. I contacted local business owners and arranged for them to speak to our student body. All branches of the Military did a presentation on benefits they offer. I set up field trips to the businesses and local colleges such as AC and WT. The goal for this project was to expose students to life beyond what they were currently experiencing. Our students family issues were placing them at risk of not receiving a high school diploma. That is how the students end up at Midway.

I multitasked on a daily bases; answering phones, scheduling apts for our DAEP program (Discipline Alternative Program). This is where students who have received discipline assignments are sent from within the Canyon School District. This campus is also housed in the same location as Midway. I dealt with upset parents, probation officers and crying students. This gave me the opportunity to encourage and serve them as they navigated this punishment.

● 2004-2014

Myself and my husband served as non paid pastors throughout our life’s journey. We were called to ministry while serving in the military. I joined the United States Air Force in July of 1999 and met my husband Steven at my first technical school at Ft. Huachuca AZ. Not long after we were married we began ministering from to young couples who were struggling during their spouses deployment. Once we got established at our first duty station at Ft. Meade Maryland we began an outreach for the local community. We were surrounded by poverty stricken homes; drug use was at an all time high and kids had no hope.

● July 199-May 2004

USAF Signals Intel Collector

I began boot camp in San Antonio Texas where I served as Dorm Chief for my flight. My first technical school was Ft. Huachuca AZ, then off to finish 2nd and 3rd part at Pensacola FL. This completed my foundation for Signals Collection. Within the Inter Community you collected data from multiple sources to ensure the safety of civilians and military institutions world wide. Collection came from listening to Morse Code, phone conversations, images, encrypted newspaper articles and other means. We worked in conjunction with UAV operators. They controlled the unmanned vehicles that were used to assist in collecting intel. So I know what it means to be a team player. I enjoyed serving my country. Once my enlistment was complete I began my biggest career: Stay at Home MOM. We chose this as a family to ensure our children had a strong foundation of faith to stand on once they began their school career. When my youngest started kindergarten I needed a change thus beginning to Substitute Teach.

I am seeking a job that will allow me to be Mom to my 3 children but also serve my community at the same time. I enjoy serving my family and the others around me. I use my creative side to create uplifting paintings, cards or quotes to encourage them to keep going. I want my co-workers and friends to rise above their current situation so they can see beyond themselves. Life isn’t about you it’s serving other people.

I want to empower others so they can see who GOD has created them to be. I have a passion for people and want to see them succeed. I am the biggest cheerleader in any position served. I live with in up rightedness and integrity.

● May 1997-May 1999

Yuba College Marysville CA

I attended junior college in order to get my basics out of the way so I could transfer to UC Davis for veterinarian medicine. I was working full time as a Customer Service Manager at Target and going to school full time. I was burnt out and knew there had to be something better out there and that is how I started my career in the United States Air Force.

● Aug 1994-May 1999 East Nicolaus High School

I was a high school cheerleader, went to state in track as a sophomore. I was highly active in 4H and FFA with pigs. I traveled all over the state and Nevada to show my pigs. This is why I wanted to be a vet.

● CASA Volunteer-Court Appointed Special Advocate I work on behalf of the children and what is best for them.

● Senior Pictures-I volunteer my time and services to students and their families who are unable to afford the high prices of on site photography. References:
