I am a software developer with experience developing, testing and implementing code through training and independent study. I have gained experience from attending a Java development apprenticeship program through Grand Circus. After spending a year with General Electric as a front-end developer, I decided to take that experience with development and design and apply it to my career in becoming an Android developer. Some languages that I have gained a firm grasp on in my career are as follows: Adobe Suite, HTML(5), CSS(3), XML, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS, Node JS, Java, and SQL. With these tools and my exposure to android software, I have gained a strong footing in the web development field and plan on using my tools with each opportunity.

● Working with GE Transportation to create a web application for the factory floor to speed up production and keep track on inventory more efficiently. Assigned the role of Front End Developer/Mobile UI Developer on the OpsVision Team. In this role I coded and designed the front-end environment that connected to a Node JS back-end that sat on a Amazon Web Services server.

● While working for GE Digital I attended the UX 101 course and earned the certification of UX designer to GE company standards.

● While with GE, I used JavaScript frameworks such as Polymer JS to connect to IOT machines to report data to factory floor workers. GE’s Predix UI were the main frameworks used to style and to compose the OpsVision web application.

● Used GitHub to maintain pod development and productive environment.

● Met with daily scrum meetings and maintained Agile development throughout production with a TDD focus.

● Pair programmed with senior developers to maintain proper training and development of skills and resources.
