Some people claim to be “out-of-the-box” thinkers in my entire professional life it never occurred to me that there ever was a box. Responsibilities:

•Helped maintain City’s voter database, oversee, manage, and service supplies, machines, and hiring of poll workers; provided tech support for office and during elections

•Wrote press releases and provided graphic support for office

•Wrote and produced educational material for training Moderators and Poll workers. Served as Assistant Head Moderator/Head Moderator for Elections

•Served as poll worker and Moderator during elections and primaries. (Upon relocating to RVA in ‘16, I have continued to work at local elections as a poll worker)

•Spearheaded move to voice-to-Internet-based communication between City’s 14 polling places and City Hall utilizing Skype and web-based voter lookup saving the city over $5,000 in 2010

•Assisted in legislative redistricting process (saving the city $10,00 per future election)
