Summary : Successful Team lead Analyst and Subject Matter Expert for some Pricing and all Visual merchandizing applications (Planogramming, Planogram Web interface, Space Optimization and Merchandizing) . This involved continuous interaction with Business partners to prioritize their concerns/requests, and categorize them as Defect, CR or New requirement and define the process flow to resolution and successful completion.

Worked as Project Technical Lead to replace one of the merchandizing planning application systems with a new product from new vendor ( from Store Designer -AVT to Smartspace - RGIS). As part of this project initiative, worked with the business lead and vendor to transform all the existing requirements to the new system, and new features, defining work flow and process flow, inhouse development work, Testing, Drawings conversion, database conversion, and implementation, worked through all phases of SDLC through successful completion. Achievement with the new product was enhanced business friendly features, faster execution of defined processes, and stable application and robust and scalable database design.

Assisted the vendor's technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and the production of system functionality documents, including database architecture. This reduced the project timeline for Requirements gathering from 6 months to 4 months.

Worked as project and technical lead on two major windows upgrade projects for 40 windows servers

(File/Web/Database) were migrated to the new Widows 2003 and then later to Windows 2012 . All the merchandizing and pricing applications and databases had to be migrated to higher versions of windows and /or SQL. This was a company-wide project. This involved extensive planning, development of some VB modules, SQL database packages migration and scripts, testing and execution.

Held Responsibility as a Technical lead to address any Technical problems with the software, be it the user PC or Application server or Database or network, and take the steps necessary to resolution within the defined SLA to acheive full customer satisfaction. This brought down the incident level to almost zero per month for most applications.

Developed and executed many SQL automation scripts - to identify nightly data process and feeds between various applications, scheduling SQL jobs and packages. This helped to reduce the bulk data processing time by 50%.

Provided inputs and developed in house coding modules to customize the vendor products, leading to a significant easy process with very less manual intervention.

Documented workflows and Support documents, for any system related changes or upgrades, and make sure business sign-off is available before implementation.

Worked with business partners and vendors to ensure business expectations are continuously met, and applications are stable throughout 24x7 whether it is bug fixes or enhancements or major upgrades of the software.
