● Make Ready work - Spectrum Communications

● Create and add data to new pole contact attachment information.

● Manage and oversee four walkout crews.

● Create field notes from walkouts and pre-engineering plans where the fiber plant is affected by new or changed street plans.

● In sure that all permitting issues are addressed and issued in a timely manner so that all due dates are completed in a timely manner.

● Provide Engineering walkouts and create engineering field notes for AT&T in the San Antonio / Austin area.

● Work with AT&T Engineers and determine where and when certain cables need to be moved or eliminated.

● Insure that all engineering is noted correctly so that drafting can update construction and as-built drawings.

● Coordinate with the telecommunications planners issue work is dircted to appropriate planners.

● Coordinate with contract Engineers, insure that all details are field verified and current as-builts are correct.

● Acquire field data to insure that the plans are correct for new “Opti- Design”. List all make ready notes where cables have to be adjusted according to standards. American Electric Power (AEP) / Telecom Outside Construction Feb.-2015-2016 AEP - Texas / Telecom Corpus Christi, TX.

● Outside Plant Engineering - Plant infrastructure, site survey, fiber design, bid review and construction followed by inspections.

● Fiber Deployment Drawings – Small World, Visio, Transmission Line interface. Make ready issues addressed, permitting to include TXDOT,UPRR standards.

● GIS Platform – Revise database to reflect as-built plant modifications.

● Engineering Consultants – Provide comments and recommendations to drawings in order to minimize potential conflicts to AEP’s Fiber Network Infrastructure.

● Fiber Network Design – Determine location of termination node in the line control house in the Substation Environment.

● Deployment of Fiber Plant that AEP owns within the Texas North Communications and the Texas Central Communications partners that integrate with AEP.

● Coordinate and award telecom projects to awarded contractors. Provide all needed tools and documentation.

● Meet weekly with Project Management on all new and retrofitted substation designs to include fiber intigration.

● Safety training on a monthly basis to include various certifications.
