DIESEL Technician III

Penske Truck Leasing - Dallas, TX - 2011-11 - Present Replace oil, oil filters, a/c and air filters, transmission, def and all fuel filters. Lubricating and replacement trucks and trailers components. W rite, design and produce work orders for down trucks, trailers and reefer units. Perform regeneration, replace and reset dpf filters on Isuzu, Hino, Freightliner, Volvo, International trucks. Replace all reefer belts, clutches, alternator, rpm solenoids, sensors, pulleys, electric and radiator fans, fuel tank, reefer unit door panels with seals on thermo king and carrier units. Diagnose, repair, replace truck and trailer electrical system. Diagnose and replace cooling system on auto and diesel including sleeper units. Diagnose, Replace failed a/c system components and parts. Adjust and replace both discs and drum brakes, on trucks and trailers. Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, and pressure gauges. Inspect and replace tractor tires, brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are operating properly.

Inspect and replace trailer tires, tire auto infilation systems, suspension and ax le component. Assist with roadside emergency repairs on company trucks an trailers. Perform onsite preventative maintenance to customer trucks and trailers. W eld joints and components and fabricates part to complete repair on trucks and trailers. Follow all safety guidelines and help others do the same. Issue advise to customers on maintaining a good running truck when neccessary. Tire Technician
