To Whom it May Concern,
I am a UAB Physician Assistant with a strong background in emergency medicine. I have 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department as well as 5 years of EMT experience. These experiences have put me in many high intensity situations. I have learned how to be efficient and adaptable no matter what the situation calls for. As a graduate of the Physician Assistant program in December 2017, I am once again drawn to Emergency Medicine.
Throughout my clinical rotations I placed an emphasis on Emergency Medicine. I completed two rotations in rural Emergency Departments. I have been tested with high volumes of patients throughout my experience. My experience has strengthened my ability to develop appropriate treatment plans in an efficient manner while ensuring the patient’s needs are fulfilled. I have performed numerous bedside procedures including wound closures, irrigation and drainages, nerve blocks, arterial lines, and endotracheal intubation.
My 7 years of experience has taught me that being a team player is the essence of emergency medicine. No matter the role I am in, I work hard to ensure the best outcome for the patient. I look forward to hearing back from you to discuss my role in your emergency department in person.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Anthony Rosen-Smith
