I am a technical writer with twenty years of experience working in the electronics

industry. I am well-versed in all aspects of writing, researching, and organizing information so that it can be presented clearly and logically to the end user. I have also been handling my own copyediting duties over the past decade or so, and have been called upon to deliver marketing copy on a regular basis, as well as write and produce simple product videos. Technical Writing Manager, Actiontec Electronics, Sunnyvale, CA 2002-2016 Wrote, edited, researched, and laid out all user documentation (manuals, quick start guides, etc.) for Actiontec products, including wireless routers, gateways, extenders, and other home and small business networking products. Wrote and edited copy and news summaries for industry-focused company newsletter and daily company blog. Wrote and edited marketing copy for advertising data sheets and online product descriptions. I have worked mainly with InDesign in most of my recent publications, although some shorter manuals were produced in Apple’s Pages app. I am moderately experienced with Photoshop and Illustrator, mostly for creating connection graphics for user manuals and still shots included in how-to videos. I have experience with Adobe FrameMaker and QuarkXpress, as well, and created most of the videos referenced above in Final Cut Pro. I also have extensive experience using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, and can muddle by in Adobe Premiere, as well as HTML. References/Samples
